Memory Splice is the marriage of human and machine, calling forth the voices and sounds of the Void of the binary system onto the dance floor and into the world. Using elements from the golden nights of electronic music culture and the current finest-honed edge, this team has been compared to the union of Underworld and BT by Atlanta radio DJ Missy Limina (WRAS 88.5FM).
Released October 14th and having already been featured on Christopher Lawrence’s “Rush Hour”, Paul Van Dyk’s VONYC Sessions”, Kaeno’s “Perspectives”, Tero A’s “Northern Skies, other Trance and Progressive EDM radio shows and already on many playlists, their debut EP “Vermillion/Antropy on Pharmacy Music hit #16 on the Beatport Trance Release chart and remained in the Top 100 for a month.
Their debut EP on Pharmacy Music had support from Champa, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Mag, Paul van Dyk, Robert Gitelman, Fergie & Sadrian, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Liam Wilson, Kaeno, Liquid Soul, M.I.K.E, Paul Trainer, Phil Parry, Physical Phase, Allen and Envy, Tasso, Tero A, Talla 2XLC, Thomas Datt and others.
Memory Splice uses intense sound design and big sound palettes, layers upon layers, mind-warping automation and effects to only further showcase their talent for strong melodic uplifting or aggressive tech-heavy electronic music, music that blurs and transcends genres and subgenre. It’s just bliss. Their sets are the time when everything is beautiful, the heart beats faster, and nothing hurts.
Memory Splice is always pushing ahead embracing modernism, these artists work in harmony to bring together and burn the bridges of classic and progressive trance and house using controllerism and all that technology can offer and will offer, to create and recreate a time-bubble of when listening to Electronic Music and going to underground parties and clubs was an immersive, lush, communal, and intense listening and dancing experience.
Memory Splice is currently hard at work in their Atlanta GA area studio working on their follow-up EP, exploring new audio vistas and doing their their monthly set Soundscapes, as well as performing as guest DJ’s.
Special Event performances included exclusive guest mixes for he International Trance Federation 2 Year Anniversary Special held with Aurora Events, the International Trance Federation Federation Friday broadcasts, including opening for Allan Morrow of Armada, and frequent guest sets on the TranceSound.net, the worlds leading Trance Portal based out of London UK, including TranceSound Festival 2013. They are occasional guests at IRIS Silent Disco since January.
As of March 2014, they became resident DJ’s for Inner State of Trance on both FM and internet broadcasts on European radio. Recent shows included headlining for Katalyst on March 22nd, 2014 for Ravezilla- Katalyst and Evolution Present Ravezilla – A Kaiju Battleground and headlining with a 2 hour set with acts on the bill like NoneLikeJoshua for the Dirty Filthy Underground Throwdown on May 31st, 2014 and the Morbid Curiosity Art Exhibit in New Orleans October 17th, 2014
